A Message to our Valued Clients from Chris Tambakis, CEO, Adgar Canada
I hope that you, your teams and your circles are remaining safe and healthy.
While we have all been facing personal and business challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, like you, our commitment to our community remains a top priority. We have all been doing our best for the past several weeks to flatten the curve. That said, this period of isolation has not been easy for anyone. It has been especially difficult for those that have lost loved ones. Our hearts go out to everyone personally impacted.
During this time, we want to stay connected and keep you and your teams informed on the actions Adgar Canada has taken through this challenging period. It is a stressful time and it is helpful for all of us to know that we are taking the best possible actions to support each other.
At the early indication of the COVID-19 outbreak, working with our dedicated service partners, we added enhanced cleaning practices to all our buildings’ common areas and tenant spaces. In addition, we began working with our suppliers to ensure continuity of service and key supplies. Our Property Managers and suppliers have been working diligently to ensure that the best protocols are being followed by their front-line teams. Additionally, when requested by tenants, we mobilized our resources to assist with specialized cleaning or disinfecting programs. We have employed the best practices recommended by Public Health, and Provincial and Federal health authorities. These Covid-19 protocols have proven highly effective and we will continue to implement these practices.
Throughout this time, our buildings have remained fully operational and accessible through security access protocol. Building operations staff, security, janitorial and other critical systems personnel have continued to support day to day building operations and specific tenant requests.
The collective efforts of our teams, and you and your employees have made a real difference. I want to thank all our front-line teams and suppliers for their dedication and professionalism. Likewise, I want to thank all of you for working together with us to minimize risks for all of us.
Looking forward, based on announcements from the Provincial Government and communications with many of our tenants, we anticipate a gradual return to your place of business in the coming weeks. Accordingly, we are establishing our Back to Work building protocols for tenants and their employees, service providers and visitors. These will be based on industry best practices. We will keep you informed through our Communication Program as these protocols are rolled out.
