COVID-19 Message From Adgar Canada CEO
This is a difficult and unprecedented time. We are all experiencing challenges that affect our daily routines, businesses, friends and families. As the impact of COVID-19 continues to evolve here at home, across Canada and around the globe, I want to reassure you that the health and safety of our community is of paramount importance to us.
We are committed to doing our part to help flatten the curve of COVID-19 transmissions. At the early indication of the COVID-19 outbreak, working with our dedicated service partners, we added enhanced cleaning practices to all our buildings’ public areas as well as tenant spaces. In addition, we began working with our suppliers and their front-line teams to ensure continuity of service and key supplies. Additionally, when requested by tenants, we mobilized our resources to assist with specialized cleaning or disinfecting programs. Moving forward, we will continue to employ best practices as outlined by Toronto Public Health, and Provincial and Federal health authorities.
Our Property Managers and suppliers have been working diligently to communicate updates and to ensure the best protocols are being followed by their front-line teams. While everyone is working hard to provide a safe, healthy environment for our businesses, it is a reality that the potential exists for further disruption. As the situation evolves, we will provide information as it becomes available, and continue to do our best to support you.
Ensuring our Adgar Canada team members are safe and healthy is also a high priority. We have implemented work from home programs. External and internal meetings have been converted to conference calls. We felt that this was a necessary decision, in order to do our part in flattening the curve. I want to assure you that while these measures are in place, our team remains fully committed to doing our best to address the ongoing challenges we are all facing.
This is a stressful time and it is helpful for all of us to know we are taking the best possible action to support each other. I want to thank our front-line teams and suppliers for their dedication and professionalism. Likewise, I want to thank all of our tenants and their employees for working together with us to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Our commitment to our community remains top priority. I hope you, your colleagues and families stay safe and well.
Thank you for your commitment to ensuring we do our best for each other.
